Welcome Back, Grandma!

Grandma just got back from Australia after being there just shy of 2 weeks. She went to visit her sister and brother-in-law and their 4 children. She was a little worried about the 22 hr flight, but she said it actually wasn't as bad as she had thought. We can't wait to see pictures and hear in person about your trip. Good day, Mate!

Happy Birthday, Sharyl

We took Sharyl to Sapporo for some good Japanese food. Olivia took this picture of "Andy" although she calls him "handy". She was afraid of the fire initially, but then she was OK and really enjoyed watching Andy do his show. I ran out of batteries, so this was the only picture I got. I think we all over-ate, but it was well worth it!
On Saturday we ventured off to the Ft Wayne Zoo, it was around 80 degrees. That is a great zoo for children. Fun was had by all.

Mema, we hope you had a great birthday. I know you enjoyed the cupcakes from the ColdStone Creamery.

"All the Earth Will Sing Your Praises" Video

Olivia made her debut in front of the church singing this past Sunday. I believe this was the rehearsal video first.

Pony ride

We got to take a pony ride when we first arrived at the park. I can't remember if her pony was named Lucy or Thomas. She enjoyed the ride immensely. Of course the horse had to poop, and the smell just about made me peuk.

An afternoon at the State Park

This slide was very bumpy; I do have to say!
Olivia wanted to climb this "mountain" so Brad took her up there. She was afraid to come down by herself, so Brad had to assist. He is gearing up for his annual hiking trip in a few weeks. He can hardly wait. He initially wanted Liv to go in the backpack carrier, which would be about equal weight of his backpack that he would take on his trip but she wanted to walk. I'd say we walked over a 1.5 miles. She did great and the weather was perfect.

She enjoyed throwing sticks in the water, and also using them as a cane.

Make-up oh my!

Olivia wanted to put on her own make-up the other day. I have to say it was quite funny looking at the end result. She likes to watch me put on my make-up a lot. She said "she wants to be pretty like me". I told her that make-up doesn't make someone look pretty, "it just gives them color". Then she went on to say "well I want to be colorful then"! And yes indeed she became that.

Going "Green"

Olivia got to try out the paint colors that we chose on some extra dry wall. She loved that! The basement is just about done. I can say that I won't miss the dry wall dust or sounds of the " hammering men".

The Masters

Olivia must of been tired from the fun Easter weekend since she layed with Brad for awhile watching the Masters. At one point she said " Daddy are you good at golf"? Brad said "yeah I am pretty good", she then said "can you put it in the hole"..I just thought that was cute. Then after about 45 minutes she asked to put Dora on. Even though we weren't that thrilled with who won, it was fun watching it for awhile as a family.

He has Risen, He has Risen Indeed!

Happy Easter 2009. I think the best part of Easter this year for me was having all of us go to church together. It was just great! I ended up getting our Easter dinner from Target and it actually was really yummy. Thanks for coming down to visit us on this special day. I got Olivia a little bunny cake for dessert; needless to say she ate very good. Even her green beans with a little help.

Of course she had to do face painting on all the grandparents this weekend. Even faces..icky!

Easter Egg Hunt at our Church

Egg Hunt Cont

Easter Egg Hunt at our Church. Olivia enjoyed opening up each egg before she looked for another one.

Kids program before the Egg hunt

Olivia asked for a pumpkin tattoo.

Loud noises

I just had to post this picture. We are in the process of getting our basement finished. Olivia hates loud noises, so this past week she wore my ear muffs around the house. Thankfully the pounding has subsided this week.

The days leading up to Easter

Christin and I were very impressed that the kids ate the egg whites; they however weren't fond of the yolks. Good healthy snack maybe for the future.
This is our second year dying Easter Eggs with Morgan and Jacob. They always have fun together.

Next year I will have to get one more set of bunny ears.

Morgan's 5th Birthday

Morgan turned 5 on March 20th. She had a Fancy Nancy tea party. All of the girls were so adorable. Happy Birthday, sweetie!

Bunnies

Aren't these little bunnies so darling?! The landscapers were mulching our yard when they discovered these cute little creatures. Olivia and I had so much fun looking at them.

Watch this Bunnie Video. Hopefully you can hear it. She is singing " Jesus loves me to the bunnies", Brad is on a conference call so you can hear some of his conversation in the background.

Shampoo bowl too!

We went to this salon in Noblesville called "Blown Away". When Britney told her to sit in the Shampoo chair she said" What are we doing this for, Mama"? It was so cute, her eyes got so big when they put the chair down.
Then she started to enjoy herself.

I love this picture

The final pose!
